The current version of kids movie creator supports limited movie shooting functions. Basically, you just take control of a character, make it an actor, and then click record button on the actor panel. Then you take control of another character and record. Finally you have a number of characters in the scene with recorded actions, and you can then play as a director to shoot movies.

The movie making will be strengthened in its next online version. Details can be seen at our developer site. http://pedn.paraengine.com

We do not have any manual on movie making yet, because the previously released version is basically met to be played by kids for fun and story making using its built-in Super Book.

animation and movie composing ?

in the scene, just run only ?

I would like to make a sequence( as like a scenario) and replay it.

or could I get any HELP or Document file how to do ? well, the help in this program just say there is animation and movie composing functions and I saw some actions on screen but how to make a sequence and replay it ?(just act by mouse only ?).

Hi,

The Screen Shot directory should be created for you when you take a screen shot or make a movie. However, if you are using windows vista or explicitly disabled creation access to the installation directory, it will not be possible for the software to write or create files. If this is your case, please allow the application to write to its installation directory. Please refer to windows manual for how to do it. In windows vista, it is called user access control(UAC).

If you still cannot get the movie file, make sure you can take a screen shot or save a 3D world to disk first. We are trying to resolve the problem under windows vista, however, most vista users turn off its default UAC features, as it will render all software with IO operations in the install directory unusable.

Yes, I checked my drive, directory but there is no screen shot directory.

The file is under the installation directory, normally at C:\Program Files\ParaEngine\Kids Movie Creator\Screen Shots You may need to change the disk drive.

Thanks, found and recorded it with maybe .avi file then it said the file saved at screenshot/paraengine_001_02251.avi

I searched the file but not found in my hard disk.

could you let me know where is the screenshot directory ?

To make the movie is easy. Click the movie box button on the left bottom corner and then click the record button in the popup window. Alternatively, you can also record from the menu. You need to go to window mode first (F2 key)

The output format is dependent on the codec installed on your computer, such as wmv, xvid, etc.
